5 Flower Toque

This hat makes for a quick and easy project using sport-weight yarn. This is a great pattern for trying stranded colour-work knitting for the first time.

Embrasure Shawlette

An embrasure is a small opening in a parapet of a fortified building. I had castle walls in mind as I created this cozy shawlette, which can warm your shoulders in a chilly office, and is ideal for wearing as a large kerchief with winter coats to guard against chilly necks. This shawlette was created to use one skein of 300 yard DK weight yarn, specifically the 70% alpaca, 30% merino that Belfast Mini Mills developed specifically for Good Fibrations.

Lingonberry Shawlette

Lingonberry Shawlette

This free shawlette pattern was designed so that it can be made with one skein of fingering weight yarn. It also wears well as a kerchief. The design is based on the traditional Estonian motif for Lingonberries.
